Carmen P. White is the presiding Judge of DallasCounty Criminal Court 8. Carmen grew up in Russellville. She is a 1995 Cum Laude Graduate of Baylor University and a 1999 Graduate of Harvard Law School. Carmen worked for 18 months as a civil lawyer before finding her passion for criminal law. Carmen was a prosecutor foe the Dallas County District Attorney's Office for 18 years. She has prosecuted crimes from traffic tickets to Capitol Murder. Carmen was a prosecutor in the Crimes Against Children's Division for nearly 16 years serving as the Chief of the Division for 5 years and the Administrative Chief for 4 years.
